"Great material & construction - moderate warmth"
The materials and construction are the best I've found in any glove. Really well made and defiantly stands up to harsh weather. This is my second pair and I've used them in dry bitterly cold weather (-30F) and in sloppy wet snow on the slopes and the wind/waterproof capabilities don't disappoint. My hands generally run cold in the winter and my only issue is that under about 20 degrees I start to feel my fingers really get chilled so half the time I use hand warmers even with a wool base layer. They could be warmer but would no doubt lose dexterity as a result. I wear a Medium in all other gloves (Arc'teryx and other brands) but I found I needed to size down with this glove and the Alpha SV I tried on - even with a base layer under it.
