ARC'TERYX ATHLETIC FIT: The Arc'teryx Athletic Fit garments are considered their "standard" fit and feature complex patterns that utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate any excess bulk. Athletic fit styles are trimmer than Arc'teryx relaxed fit styles, but still offer room for a base layer, a light fleece mid-layer, and a synthetic or down filled mid-layer. Put simply, their Athletic Fit should fit true to size, but be sure to check out the size guide to learn how to calculate your body measurements before selecting a size.

Now I love Arc'Teryx everything! I own 3 of their thermals and cant rate them any higher. I own their rain jacket / pants / packs / gloves.so the build quality in this is amazing as you except from Arc'Teryx. I wear 32' normally and their fit amazing. not too much room for thermals underneath though. they are super quick drying and very high level of craftmans shift. I cant give them 5 star rating because of the nose of the nylon rubbing togetherthese pants are stylish you could wear them around town or the great outdoors. highly recommend but they are better hiking / trekking pants out there
I've owned these for a while now along with the Rampart pants. I'm 6'4" with a 36" waist and the 36L is a good fit. I prefer the Rampart pants to these because these are just a little tight fitting in the thighs, and I've by no means got thunder thighs. I am a skinny dude. They're still comfortable, breathable, a little stretchy, and look good on the trail as well as around town. I like the Rampart more due to them having more pockets and have a little more of a relaxed fit. The Perimeter is still a great pant, but I prefer the Rampart to them.
First pair of Arcteryx pants I've purchased. Fit OK out of the box, took them on a trip to Africa and they worked fine, zippered pocket is great. However, brought them back and washed them, now they don't fit at all (waist and in). I generally wear 32-33 in Patagonia if that's any help, a 32 in these is way small for me.
