ARC'TERYX NEXT to SKIN FIT: These snug-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin and enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Arc'teryx next to skin fit pieces constructed with their heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, so you should consider sizing up to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this as a mid layer option if you are building a layering system. Also check out the size guide to learn how to calculate your body measurements before selecting a size.

This is my new go-to baselayer. It feels incredibly comfortable that you'll want to wear it 24/7. I wore this in the recent Juno blizzard. Conditions were 20F (-2F with wind); I had this one, an Atom LT Hoody for mid-layer, and Beta LT Hybrid for shell, it that combo worked perfectly -- never felt cold, and walking indoors didn't give me a strong urge to shed layers quickly. No sweat or smells were detectable after 4 days of straight use -- although, I was mostly just walking outside and didn't jog or anything. It's pricey, but it's noticeably better than my (1) Nike Combat Hyper-Warm polyester shirt (which I always thought was good), and (2) a thin merino wool Icebreaker 150 weight -- as both of those left me feeling a little cold when layering w/ the same mid- and shell- layers.
Okay, I skied 65 days last season, I've been buying ski gear like a maniac. I have purhcased over 15 different kind of base layer from arcteryx (1 patagonia) nothing is as good as this one, at first was kinda hesitating about it because it was a little expensive for a base layer but once I tried it I said it was well worth it. I got the yellow color, that is one of the other reason I got his cos there is no other yellow arcteryx base layer. super soft, keeps you super dry. I would recommend it to anyone for sure..
I've got a lot of Arc'teryx stuff but this one is near the top. Tremendously comfortable and really delivers the warmth for its weight. I'm wearing one right now because they're comfortable just to wear everyday. Tomorrow, I'll throw it on for a run before washing it. Soft fleecy inside, smooth weather-repellant outside. Perfect fit (5-10, 140 lbs., Small). A total winner.
