"True to size as it made me look like a walking sausage"
So this shirt is true to size in that it is next to skin! So literally if you have a roll here and there--you may want to order a size larger than usual. Im a large and had to return for an XL. It is very warm and looks are the best coming from a base layers perspective. I just love the Arcteryx style and material...what else can you say. these guys are my favorite line.
I purchased the RHO LTW last fall and have used it pretty much every weeks since It arrived at my door step. The piece is truly a very versatile piece of clothing. I wear this on multiple occasions for multiple different activities. I primary use the RHO as a light first layer for hiking and snowboarding in Vermont and Colorado, it's a great piece for layering. Besides the perfect craftsmanship, the RHO is one of my favorite articles of clothing. The material is fairly thin and seems semi fragile, I haven't had any problems with the durability, but I wouldn't go hard core bush whacking with only this on. The best part about the RHO is the quality and softness against your body, plus the material does an excellent job with controlling odor. Most of my other layers have this stench that I can't ever get out, The RHO doesn't have this problem and will smell fresh after multiple powder days. I would recommend this product to anyone that plans on doing any sort of high output activities.
I've used the RHO LTW zip neck on every field even I go on. It is my go to baselayer and will keep me warm all the way down to freezing temperatures. When you get moving it keeps you cool and dry, and you'll never need to change it. I've gone for a week at a time without washing this baby and it will still be ready for a night on the town. The fit is perfect for a guy with gorilla arms like me, and the torso is just right. I have two of these now, and I highly recommend this product!
