I have purchased tights from Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour. This tight from CW-X is the best of the bunch. I am an Ironman triathlete and have used these tights while biking in colder weather and also for running. I've also used these tights as a base layer while cross-country skiing, or downhill skiing/snowboarding.The tights really do support the knees and noticeably reduce fatigue. I didn't believe it, but after using these, have bought into the "story." I am 5'9" 165lbs and purchased the Small size. The reason for this is that the tights stretch slightly over time. If I purchased the medium, they would have gotten too loose after some wear & tear. Highly recommend going one size smaller than you normally would wear.
Wife likes to slap me because my butt so tight in these. But really, they are really comfortable and have helped stabilize body movement while biking and spring hiking. At 5-9, 175 lbs I ordered Medium and found they are a perfect fit. Cannot wait to try these snowboarding this winter (11/12 season).
I'm kind of torn on these CW-X tights. Do they feel good, provide support, reduce fatigue, and increase recovery times? Yes. Do they do all of those things so great that they're worth the hefty price tag? Well, if you're rollin dough maybe so, but if you're broke as a joke maybe not. I agree with the other reviewer: buy these on sale and you'll be happy. Retail price is for suckaz anyway!
these tights are lifesavers. For someone who has really tight hips, these give extra hip support as well as really as give a very form fitting fit. BIG thumbs up. After wearing these tights, I don't think any other pair of tights can even compare to these. These are a heavy investment, but it you can get them on sale, they are great pickups.
