Solid construction and warm. It has been in the negative digits where I live numerous times this year and this jacket has pulled its weight every time. Slightly bulky but the positives far outweigh the negative. If you are on the fence, BUY IT!
Where do I start? I've owned many high end jackets, as I lived in Chicago for years but I needed something better to brave the winters of Williston, North Dakota's oilfields. This seems to be the perfect coat. It's somewhat puffy, but still allows fairly free arm motion for a down jacket. It's comfortable to wear all day, and it breathes remarkably well indoors. I'm 5'11", 200lb and the Large fit me perfectly, cuffing around my waist like a proper bomber jacket should. On a side note, the fabric is easy to clean. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a practical, and very fashionable down jacket for a cold weather environment.
"Nice Jacket, well made & designed, but not loving the logo on the back"
Super warm & beautifully designed EXCEPT for the CANADA GOOSE imprint on the back. Basically, there's a tab right in the middle of the jacket between the shoulder blades that says CANADA GOOSE in gold. Doesn't match the rest of the jacket & looks so out of place-a blatant attempt to make sure everyone knows that it's a canada goose jacket. Turns a $700 jacket into a walking billboard. I love that the jacket is longer than the Chilliwack, b/c the only reason i didn't buy the Chilliwack was because it was so short. This jacket is about 2.5" longer-the perfect length for a bomber. It hasn't gotten cold enough in NY yet to really test the jacket out, but these were my initial impressions,
Top quality. Durable. Warm. A full winter jacket that can still be worn with jeans. Nice style and fit. Most jackets this warm look puffy and/or boxy. I'm 6'4" 200 lbs and a large actually fit nicely. Long sleeve length. The knit cuffs and waist feel good. The pockets are super cozy. The zipper is serious business. The hood is huge and I like that you can remove the fur and/or the whole hood. Hard to dish out the $$$$ on it, but keep in mind it should last a lifetime. Moosejaw is the real deal. Don't EVER shop anywhere else...... ever. Mike Kardes, Assam Saidi, Peter Woodman, Hannah and the rest at Bham provided flawless service with a dash of fun. Thanks!
