The Canada Goose Men's Langford Parka is new to the Canada Goose Arctic Line, designed to be a stylish urban piece, but built to provide complete protection against extreme weather conditions. The shell is made with Canada Goose's 195gsm Arctic-Tech and cotton blend with DWR, filled with 625 fill power white duck down, and combined with a 55gsm Nylon-weave, water-proof lining with WR finish to provide complete insulation. The Men's Langford Parka includes an adjustable hood lined with a removable coyote fur ruff for added warmth, and allows you to adjust size as conditions change. Canada Goose also boasts a range of extra features in their Langford line, including a center-front YKK 2-way locking zipper with insulated storm flap, heavy-duty recessed and flexible rib-knit cuffs, back webbing grab-strap, upper chest and lower body pockets with Velcro flaps, as well as 2 interior pockets with zipper closures. This men's parka has a mid-thigh length with an elasticized drawcord waist to add extra insulation beyond your torso. The Canada Goose Langford Parka is made for those living in cold cities like Montreal or Munich, which means you can keep yourself warm and comfortable in your day to day life and stop stressing about freezing on simple trips around town.
I never heard of Canada Goose before last winter. A frequent visitor to Toronto I saw dozens of people wearing them. Some casually, some over suit coats. They are a fashion statement up there. When I got back home I was pretty surprised at their cost...pretty high...but research showed extremely high quality, happy customers and made in Canada!.Besides beer I'm not sure what else is made in Canada.I bought the graphite one and love it.It fits great, is dressy enough for work, light in weight, but extremely warm. The quality is impeccableI wore it through the Polar Vortex and the Buffalo blizzard of 14...The most versatile coat I own and worth the price..
I splurged and bought this coat for my husband (who is from CA) after we recently moved to my hometown of Chicago. I knew he wouldn't last a second in one of the Windy City's hellacious winters without a seriously warm coat. This one of Canada Goose's sleekest "street" coats without sacrificing any of the rugged warmth and arctic cold protection. He not only looks great in this parka, but he has been able to survive some of the coldest winters on record. He works outside and wears his Canada Goose all of the time. He also loves the parka's intense tube hood that blocks out any traces of icy wind on his face. Bottom line, GREAT parka!!! Pricey, but totally worth it if you need a coat that will stand up to the most brutal cold.
"Great Parka. Own one in size L and bought this one for my dad"
I already wrote a positive review about this parka. If I wouldn't like it, I wouldn't have bought another one for my dad:-)I'd just like to state that I also like the idea of supporting a company that has never relocated their production facilities to cheap labor countries.
The Langford Parka is a durable, warm and elegant Parka. It keeps me warm during my business travels to Europe's coldest regions like Norway and Finland. The original coyote fur protects you from cold wind and it never freezes over. However I have the impression that the latest versions of the Canada Goose Parkas have smaller fur than the ones they made a couple of years ago. A friend of mine has a 3 year old "Chateau Parka" and the fur is probably twice as thick.
"Langford is the most stylish/fitted Canada Goose jacket for men"
If you are looking for a Goose for the warmth but want the least bulky coat, this is the one for you. Sometimes with Goose you lose the fitted aspect but this one is more of a straight tailored fit. Remember you don't want your Goose too tight, or you lose some of the warmth. If you are questioning or feel in between, always go for the bigger size. You won't be disappointed with the Langford!
"If you are willing to spend the money, it is the best coat to own. Period."
This coat just came in the mail and it is epic. Plush. Warm. Stylish. It fits like a glove [i am six foot tall medium build and the large was ideal]. I would choose this over the other Canada goose models, as this is the warmest but least bulky version out there. Green is a nice color too.
