The Chaco Women's Zong Sandals are backless sandals with a toe loop for walking the town to crossing sandy beaches. The Zong strap wraps around your big toe and customizes the fit so the LUVSEAT footbed stays where you want it. The arch provides stability while the diamond patterned footbed prevents your foot from slipping around. The outsole is non-marking with a 2mm lug for sand to cement to tile.

After suffering through a week of shin splints a physical therapist suggested getting an insert for my running shoes that would support my arch more. So, I was on the hunt for some casual sandals that were supportive too! I can't live in my running shoes...Enter Chaco...BEST.SANDAL.EVER!! Hands down! After wearing them a couple days my shin splints are even feeling better since my arches are more supported!
I decided to purchase these after both of my daughters told me how great their regular chacos were. These are great shoes for the alternative to regular slid on sandals, but the only problem is that the toe loop sometime shortens when you walk. It is a minor problem once you are used to it and get them adjusted properly. I wear them all the time in the summer and sometimes sneak and wear them to work too :)
I love my chacos! I already own the Z/2 chacos but I recently bought these as a second pair to wear to the pool and beach this summer...needless to say I've been wearing them everywhere else too! They are so easy to just slip on and are really comfortable too. I would just say it takes a few days to get the straps adjusted to where they're comfortable for you. I love that they go with everything too...shorts, skirts, dresses!
I love my chacos. I own two pairs and I only wear them in the summertime. After a long day at work, I come home with aching feet, and put these on and before you know it, my feet no longer hurt. It's like they reverse the pain. If your on the edge about buying a pair of chacos, then jump!
"Love Chaco, but these will strangle your big toe"
OK, so I've been an avid Chaco wearer since I was ten or twelve and switched over from the infinitely inferior Tevas. (Seriously, velcro sucks, especially if you want to get it wet.) I really wanted to love my zongs. They're super cute, and look like they would be a very functional shoe. Not so. Even though I wore these for a long time, got them wet to soften up the straps, adjusted, adjusted and adjusted some more, they're still really uncomfortable if you plan to walk any distance (like, a block) in them. My toes are small, and yet the toe strap always tightens so much that they start to turn purple. Down with the toe strap! I like my wraphsodys much better.
I just got these shoes, with my moosejaw reward points :), and i love them. They are super cute and great shoes. The only problem is that they do rub your foot, until they are broken in. I would highly suggest them if you want cute, but great walking shoes!
It's hard to say anything new about these awesome sandals but I have a little advice.I bought these after already having a pair of the ZX/2 Unaweeps with the straps around the back. I definitely love those more. They are much more versatile and easy to wear. I would say, these make great supplemental Chacos but if you are planning on only owning one pair, buy the ones with the straps around the back.
These shoes are great! I was a little afraid to buy because half sizes aren't available and my feet are a little wide. I decided to go ahead and try them out and I'm glad I did. I ordered up one half size and they fit perfectly; they are good for wide feet as the straps are easily adjustable and soft. However, be prepared for a little rubbing and maybe a couple blisters while they're being broken in. After wearing them twice, though, they fit really nicely and are extremely comfortable!
These shoes are great. I was worried about buying them because I have feet that are sort of wide, but the straps are easy to adjust. The straps are soft, but be prepared for a little rubbing and maybe a few blisters after the first day of wearing. After that, though, these shoes are great!
I am an avid Chaco wearer... have now 3 pairs. I ordered the zongs and within the first 4 hours of wearing them had large blisters on the tops of my feet from where the straps wouldn't loosen. But, with the help of large band-aides and persistence, they are getting better. Just have to be patient and deal with a little bit of pain
