"Best gift EVER for 14, 11 and 7 year olds"
Want your kids to put down their electronics and spend some time outside? This is the answer to your request! Hands down, favorite gift for all 3 kids. Originally thought our 7 yr old son would not be interested, but so glad we placed the 2nd order before Christmas. Our 14 and 11 yr old daughters use them as often as they can. It was 23 degrees yesterday with ice and sledding for fun, afterwards, they ENO'ed! Sometimes they have 3 stacked, other times they want to be alone. They trek through the woods and find their perfect spot for that day. Introduce your kids to the outdoors again - you won't regret this purchase! Great quality, easy to use (the 7 yr old does it by himself), good size to add a friend, TONS of enjoyment for all ages.
I have been laying in it since i got, haven't got out yet. I have to use catheters and my mom brings be grilled cheese. It has been 3 weeks. It has a maximum capacity of 400 lbs. At this rate I should be there in a month or two. I am starting to lose feeling in my legs but i have to stay strong and power through. My mom is yelling at me again wondering why I am typing on my computer... I don't expect her to understand. I hammock therefore I am.
Been using this just to enjoy some relax time with the bf - haven't given up the tent yet. but I can't say enough good things about it, what a fun purchase. Minimal weight or bulk for packing it along - I highly recommend.
At first I was worried about what hammock to purchase between the single and double nest, but I am extremely happy with my decision to go with the double nest. I am a little over 6 feet tall and was worried I wouldn't fit comfortably in the single nest. The double nest fits me perfect because I can sleep at a little bit of an angle. I have slept many nights in this hammock without any problems. I have also used it to lounge around in at the beach on a nice day. It is compact enough that I can take it pretty much anywhere. I now look forward to any occasion that involves me getting to use my hammock. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice hammock.
Definitely worth the money. I saw this exact hammock recently in a Dick's Sporting Goods store for around 20-30 dollars higher than what Moosejaw sells them for, same with both the Slap Straps and the Atlas Straps. Together they cost more than 120-ish dollars. I got this hammock along with the Atlas Straps during a special Moosejaw sale for around 80 total, which was equal to or much better than all of the other websites I looked at. I recommend that others get the Atlas straps as well, it's worth it to have the extra loops for adjusting the position of the hammock. If you're making a shelter using the hammock under a tarp, the extra loops in the Atlas straps are also great for holding extra stuff you don't want on the ground if you have some extra cord or clips to attach them. If you're spending your money on high quality hammocks because you're planning some real outdoor time, spend it on the best straps and the double hammock. The comfort and quality exceed what you pay for them.
I used this hammock for a 19 day trip on the AT in mid august and I can say without a doubt this was a better bet than a tent. The numerous days my hiking buddies spent on the wet ground waking up with soggy sleeping bags made me realize I will never go back to a tent again (unless its a hilliberg). Sets up quick and is light enough for even the most scrupulous ounce-counting ultralight backpackers but maintains a respectable level of durability (more so than 80% of tents on the market). It's worth noting that you'll need a good tarp and a good set of hammock straps to complete this kit but overall it's a great piece of equipment. Since I bought mine I have purchased 3 more as gifts.
This was a hit!!! All three of my kids loved the DoubleNest and couldn't wait to get outside and get the set up. They all hung around for hours in them. Best advice--get one for EACH child and get the double nest (not the single). For some reason only a kid can understand they are better!
"If you want to reach maximum chill you gotta get a ENO hammock"
Love my ENO! It goes w/ me everywhere and is super easy to set up. Durable, washable, light, cool colors...what more could you want? Quick nap on your lunch break? DONE. Light reading on a gorgeous day? DONE. Chill place to sleep in the middle of the forest or safe refuge from evil prairie dogs? DOUBLE DONE SON! You don't even have to buy the ENO straps if you think it makes the setup too pricey, just use some nylon straps and your golden. Don't think just buy...and buy from Moosejaw cause they're he coolest.
