Moosejaw Staff Pick "When the Eagles Nest DoubleNest Hammock isn't hanging out in my backyard, I take it on all my spring and summer camping trips. The DoubleNest is way more comfortable than lying in a tent, and super easy to set up. I definitely recommend the insect screen though. Bugs suck." Matt - Moosejaw Secret Headquarters
Moosejaw Staff Pick "Earlier this summer I went on a bachelor party camping trip, and though it was great time, our group of 8 were heavily burdened by the tents we were taking. No Hubba Hubbas here. I'm talking large 6-man domes that were so old that we needed to bring extra blue tarps in case of inclement weather. Granted, we could've saved ourselves some trouble by not insisting that we bring three, but carrying just one of those beasts for a few miles will turn your arms to rubber. It was on the hike back to the cars that I decided to invest in ENO. My next trip was completely different.
The Eagles Nest Outfitters double-nest with slap-straps and fast-fly rainshield are awesome. I also have the mosquito net, though I haven't had to use it yet. All the pieces together weigh about 5 lbs, and everything is phenomenally compressible so I was able to fit and/or lash everything to my pack. NO RUBBER ARMS! Setup is as easy as finding two trees, and the slap straps provide extra feet to allow more options for lashing up the hammock. The Double Nest is really big enough for two, but you have to really like each other (really). The rain fly provides great cover and since the hammock is off the ground, there is plenty of dry ground underneath the fly for cooking or storing your pack. Get the ENO system and never worry about helping people carry their dumb tents again." Matthew - Moosejaw Secret Headquarters
The DoubleNest hammock by Eagle Nest makes you want to snuggle. With two-feet of extra width than the SingleNest, the DoubleNest allows room for one, two, three, or however you decide to pack 400lbs. The DoubleNest seats more than one person comfortably and is essential for family adventures. The DoubleNest still packs down to the size of a grapefruit, so there is no excuse to be without your ENO hammock.

"The bottom line is... this product is absolutely fantastic."
SO! My product review, aye? What I SHOULD be doing instead of this review is my paper that is due in 6 or so hours... BUT HEY, I care about the betterment and knowledge of my fellow moosejaw users which is more important, right? ...So about the product! My eno is wonderful. I have the best time with my eno comrades. Conquering the trees with our colorful kinda potato skin like hammocks... (yes, that is a good thing). For all those fly girls and guys out there, they are also super fun to make out in. ;) ENJOY!Happy enoing!
This hammock is wonderful. It is very spacious and much better than sleeping on the ground. I take this with me everywhere during the spring and summer. If you are taller, go with the doublenest. You can use the extra fabric like a cocoon to keep the bugs away. Great hammock, plenty of room, and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to all who want to get into hammock camping or just looking for a nice hammock to lounge around in.
I absolutely LOVE this thing. Ultralight backpacking with it is a breeze. Easy setup, and soooo comfortable. I also have mounts for it in my room for when I'm just hanging out(pun intended). I just hate how much extra stuff you have to buy for it. My tip would be to resist the whole thing and be creative. I bought some load tie-down nylon webbing from an auto parts store and use those instead of paying 30 bucks extra for the ENO ones. They work just as well, believe me. Instead of an 80 dollar ENO rainfly, use either a normal tarp or the fly from an old tent. All that aside, this is an awesome purchase and super fun and versatile. It'll be a hit on the campground for sure!
I got my eno about 2 months ago and i love it its great for hanging out around the crag in between climbs or swinging in my living room. But i would recommend the double because it can hold to and it is a lot more comfortable than the single(my buddy has the single and he wishes he got the double like me).
The Eno DoubleNest is a great piece of gear to have with you where ever you go if it's camping in the backwoods or just setting it up in the yard it's a very comfortable breathable and reliable hammock. The DoubleNest is great for one person because the extra room lets you wrap it around you like a cocoon keeping you nice and snug!
Absolutely love this hammock! It's easy for even technically-challenged folks like me to use! And there's nothing better than a Sunday afternoon nap in this thing! Unless of course, it were a Monday-Saturday nap in it! Seriously though, I've owned other hammock that weren't nearly this easy to put up and take down and they weren't nearly as comfortable! I would highly recommend this hammock to anyone!
I just ordered mine with my Moosejaw rewards. I have used one of my friends a few time and loved it. This thing is super comfortable and nice and wide. I live in the Southeast and during the spring and summer months used this instead of a tent. I will be buying the slap strap system to go with this.
