I bought this hammock because I have a ENO Doublenest and I wanted something smaller to bring with me to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I needed a hammock that I could easily fit into my bag without sacrificing much. (I gave up my pillow for this, so you know it's worth it...) I used it everyday on my trip and continue to use it now at home. My only concern is that with me being in the wilderness for 7 days without a proper shower, I was a bit sweaty and icky and my greasy hair left marks on the material. But any hardcore adventurer can relate to that, I'm sure... Or I'm just gross. All in all, I would highly recommend this hammock to anyone who wants to be able to look at the sky while lounging instead of being wrapped up in the cocoon that the Doublenest provides.
This was purchased for my daughter and she loves it. It goes camping with us every time. Plus she takes it to school functions. Folds up so small so able to carry it everyone without a problem. I did my research and Moosejaw was the cheapest place to purchase our Eno and shipping was fast. Will continue to use Moosejaw for futrue purchases.
I would recommend this to anyone who camps or likes the outdoors because swinging lightly between two trees is one of the most relaxing things you can do. I got the Atlas suspension system too which makes setting up and finding the ideal positioning for hammock a breeze. can't go camping without my ENO.
"You gotta get this! Hammock? its more like being in the womb!"
The ENO SingleNest hammock is awesome for camping, hanging in some trees like a monkey at college or totally ignoring your family if your a 14 year old cause you got this cool hammock for your birthday. Durable, Easily packable and my favorite dad thing...the bag is attached so it cant get lost.Get'cha one!- Heck
If you are a girl or a small man this would do fine...for the average American man who is 6'....not so much....was disappointed with it only because of size...now I have to buy a new one that is a double-nest....my advice get a double nest first...
This is a great hammock! Perfect for hiking or studying in, and is comfortable enough to sleep in. It is small and light enough to fit in any backpack. The angles that the straps are placed can change the tension in the sides of the hammock for different activities (sitting, reading, or hiding from squirrels).Haven't tried this in cold or wet weather yet, so I'm not sure if it is warm.
My ENO has earned a permanent place in my truck. It's simple to set up on a whim (in fact, I can't deny that I have taken a nap or 2 tied up to a tree at work on this thing), and is unbelievably comfortable. I have slept in it on hot sweltering days, and the breeze kept me comfortable when I would have been miserable in a tent. Definitely takes some practice, but you can wrap up in a sleeping bag or blanket when it's cold too. If you are thinking about it, just buy it!
from Cincinnati (but always wanting to be back in The Mitten)
I love my Eno so much I had to get each if my kids one so they would get out of mine! We take them everywhere...to the park, camping, on our balcony, you name it. You can hang them anywhere. Great for an afternoon nap, curling up with a good book, or just relaxing in a great shady spot.
