I bought these shoes after having gone through some Mad Rocks, Evolv, and La Sportiva(1 of each). The other shoes I wear have nothing on these. Be warned that these shoes have a lined upper and are quite difficult to size if you have wider feet. I wore in an 8.5 in Evolv Defy, an 8 in Mad Rock's Demon 2.0, and for these I had to get a 9.5. Its not that they weren't wide enough necessarily but that the sizing is way different from other brands. So order bigger than most other climbing shoes. These shoes have are mildly aggressive with a slight downturned toe. The toe is unbelievably helpful on overhangs. It helped me send a project that I had been working on for 3 weeks. I have wider feet and I don't recommend these shoes if you have wider feet too unless you want your pinky toe to meld with your foot. I'm really happy with these shoes. Climb Safe!
