The Camp Fours are the bomb. Bought these for the Tahquitz trip I took last year. They were perfect for the friction down climb. Sticky soles and very comfortable fit. This is what I took on my climbs up Williamson and Tyndall in the Sierras. Perfect for the Willie Bowl and the 3rd class scrambling. The heel box is everything they say it is = no blisters! I don't usually want to wear out my technical gear but these look great and sometimes I wear these around town.
"Great approach shoe that can handle multiple days with a decent backpacking load"
This was a great shoe that scrambles well, I wouldn't say it climbs well. Toe rand fell apart before I thought it should. New version has stitching which should improve that. I take it on backpacking trips where it excels
