"Looks good, not recommended for hiking/outdoor use."
This thing is incredibly good looking. My girlfriend absolutely loves it, and I wear it in the fall and colder months as a blazer over some insulation. Fits great over a sport coat. All that said, it makes a great over coat for going to dinner with the relatives and a night out in some of the finer establishments of the city but it also (once waxed) doubles as a very useful weather stopper. You could wear this thing to dinner and then walk right out of the restaurant and into the woods. It's as durable as anything you can buy and has pockets and functionality in all the right places. As noted above, it is NOT lined so be aware that if that's what you're looking for this isn't for you.
Very handsome testosterone laden styling for the adventurous, which is everyone at Moosejaw. Will be ScotchGuarded for use in the rainy California off season . . . beats the hell out of an umbrella. This jacket is unlined, so it's definitely not for cold weather use. I love the look, as do all the women that are secretly in love with me.Ranchhand
I bought the navy colored jacket about 9 months ago. Really like the color and fabric. I have worn it in the cooler Fall and Winter months in NC and it keeps me warm. Really good weight for NC during cooler months. Looks like a cross between a sport coat and a casual jacket which is exactly what I wanted. Snaps on sleeves and bottom pockets not so great an idea.
