for the Granite Gear Women's Nimbus Trace 62 Ki Pack
The suspension design is brilliant. It has pivoting shoulder straps that can be adjusted to match the torso size and width of the shoulders. The frame itself can take 50 pounds without banding. You can customize the size and firmness of hipbelt and shoulder traps (but I find that the standard ones work amazing well). In the end of the day, this 3 pound backpack is as comfortable as 7 pound Gregory pack and can take a lot of abuse. There are plenty of compression straps so you can secure a lot of items to it or compress it down to a daypack size. The lid can be removed and it will still be fully functional.
I use this pack pretty often and have had it for five years! Never had a problem other than the zipper broke one time. I sent it back to the company who fixed it for free and it only took a little over a week to get back. Awesome. Also comfy. I haven't used any other backpacking pack so I may not be the most knowledgeable in this area but I haven't had a problem.
