The Icebreaker Men's Oasis LS Crewe is a slim fit base layer for hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and even heading to work. The Oasis LS is 200 weight, lightweight enough for running on a mild day worn alone and warm enough for starting the pile of layers on frigid days. Life is way more fun outdoors, spend it in an Oasis.

SPECIFICATIONS of the Icebreaker Men's Oasis Long Sleeve Crewe
I'm 6'1'' and an athletic 180lbs. I bought this in a large and it's the perfect size! Icebreaker is my favorite merino wool products. They always fit great and never smell. It is pretty lightweight and works perfectly under a midlayer, but I also wear it on it's own because it looks, feels and fits so great.
When I first opened the package, I was amazed at the lightweight of this base layer! In trying it on, the merino wool was soft, not scratchy, and well-fitting. I wore it with a shell on a cold day to cut some large tree limbs that had come down in an ice storm. The icebreaker performed like a pro (no pun intended)! I was very comfortable in the cold, snowy landscape and not too warm with the hard work. I look forward to trying it X-C skiing. Highly recommend this product!
I love all of my baselayers from Icebreaker, but if I could only have one, it would be the Oasis Crewe. The Anatomica and Sprint lines are fantastic for specific activities, but this is my daily go-to. It fits fine under other shirts (including dress shirts), but unlike the Anatomica, which is very thin, and the Sprint, which is 100% form-fitting, I can wear this standalone while running errands and such without feeling like I'm in a sheer top or a wetsuit. Although I'd pick my Sprint for high-activity sports and the Anatomica for warmer ultralight excursions, I'd be fine with taking the Oasis. The sleeves are just a tiny bit short on my very long arms, but compared to how most shirts fit, I can't complain too much.
This is a great base layer. I'm 6'1'' and 180lbs and a large is a perfect fit. This shirt is extremely soft and perfect for under a fleece. I like to wear merino and this is my first piece from Icebreaker and I will definitely be buying more! Next time I'll try a 260 weight though.
"Great heavier baselayer for those colder winter days (and nights)"
I purchased this baselayer at the same time as the anatomica one. This version is a bit heavier in weight, as a wanted it - for the colder winter days here in Michigan and for snowboarding. This shirt could keep me warm if just worn with one of my Arc'teryx shells down to 0F, no doubt about it. If you're looking for a baselayer of a bit heavier weight - look no further! I highly recommend this one. I'm 6'2" and 175lbs and chose the large because I like my baselayers to be close-fit, but not skin tight. I could have fit into the medium with no problem, but I like a bit of wiggle room.
I have this and love it. I have the 260 weight and it is also fantastic. This 200 weight I sometimes wear under a dress shirt in the winter and I couldn't be happier with it. It breathes, wicks, doesn't stink, and looks excellent. I will most certainly purchase more. I am 5'8" and 155lbs and wear the medium, and it is not skin tight, which is what I want and it fits like in the photo. To get skin tight, I'd likely need a small.
