This is my first pair of Keen hiking shoes (big fan of their sandals..) and i'm very impressed by their performance. I've used it for almost six months and there is hardly any sign of wear. comfortable and good support for several hours of hiking. looks cool too. haven't tested the waterproof qualities much as most of my hike were on dry land.
I'm an avid Keen wearer and these shoes are really nice. Of course they're super stylish and comfortable. Unfortunately I fall in a weird place on the Keen shoe-size spectrum. They recommend on their website to order the Bryce's a half size bigger than normal...a problem for me because I have a size 12 foot....and so I have to choose between a 12 and a 13. I went with the 12 this time, and as expected, the shoe felt a bit tight at first. But now with about 3 months of wear underfoot (not daily, but a couple times a week), they're feeling super comfy. Oh...and the laces have trouble staying tied. Might want to supplement with some good quality ones from somewhere else.
The Bryce WP is a great shoe and is everything that I was looking for in a light hiking shoe (comfortable, waterproof, stylish, and can dress up). I would recommend it to anyone looking for an all around outdoor shoe, but the one thing I wish they did different was loose a few ounces. Each is more than one pound and I think they could each be a tad lighter. You can't go wrong with Keen though.
