The Kuhl Men's Rydr Pant are much tougher than the denim in your closet, delivering a round house kick to the face of any opponents. I'm pretty sure Chuck Norris broke these in himself. Once you put them on you will instantly recognize the anatomical design which follows the natural shape and curves of your body, providing the ultimate in fit and comfort. Kuhl took the 'classic pant' with the standard 5 pocket design and stylized it with a vintage patina dye and river wash giving these Rydr Pants a rugged, well worn look. They added a stealth pocket for your cell phone and reinforced the pockets and cuffs, guaranteeing these bad boys will stay alive and well for years to come. The gusseted crotch and articulated knees give amazing freedom of movement for increased comfort and are cut generously in the thigh to offer unbeatable, unrestricted movement.

These pants are great!!! they are extremely durable (better than jeans) on top of that they are by far the most comfortable pants i have ever had. They dont restrict movement and breath really well, will wear them when its hot or its cold. They are also great for Rock Climbing!
"Tougher than your average pants! Well, and all around just better!"
I have grown to love much of the Kuhl clothing over the last few years. I spend a fair amount of time outdoors and always look for durability along with comfort and Kuhl seems to understand that perfectly. Many of Kuhl's pants very greatly in weight and material so I would recommend looking for them on a personal level depending on your usage needs. The Rydr's are a great all around pant. I can get away with them in the office because they look nice enough or better than your average pair of Khakis but they excel on comfort and wearability. They are truly designed for outdoor activities or work that involves movement but the weight is great, not too heavy, not too light and I find the fit to be extremely accurate. Some of the products do tend to shrink a little bit but not more than a normal pair of pants. The colors can start to fade a bit over time but again not to the point of making them look bad. If you like comfort I would recommend trying a pair, if not great, more for me!
Never had a product that I felt strongly enough to write a review for, but these pants warrant my testimonial. These pants are all I have and wear now and I'm getting more. I have them in three sizes (summer running, equinox transition, and winter hibernation sizes) and all of them stand up to both the heat and cold. The material is heavy and reinforced where it should be and remains comfortable all day and night. As for the coloring, the description and washing instructions explain that they will fade noticeably over time. This is not a defect as some have said, but a feature that improves the color over time. For instance, the Espresso color has weathered to look like distressed leather in the year or so I've been wearing them. These pants are awesome for all sorts of activities - daily work casual, dinner out on the town, or enduring the elements while finding your own adventure. Enjoy!
Got these pants for casual to mild outdoor work. Excellent pant. Not an insulated pant but because they are a thicker grade, they keep you warm. You'll tell right away that they are a heavier weight pant. Very comfortable as they don't bunch or gather in an uncomfortable way while moving around. I would recommend and buy these pants again and again.
Start with the good news. Fit and sizing was spot on. No issues.Unfortunately just one washing resulted in unsightly and unusual fading. Though perfectly wearable from a functional point of view, clearly doesn't look good especially for nearly $80.Also unfortunately Moosejaw doesn't seem to accept exchanges for defective products. Appears that products must in 'sellable condition', unworn and unwashed. Very disappointed.
"Ther are great pants, they fit well, and are my daily goto for what needs to get done!"
I like well-fitting utility pants. These have become my new favorite after Mountain Khakis seemed to have lost there durability and fit over the past few years..Kuhl's are indeed cool! I can wear them for my daily work around the mountain, walking the dog, cutting firewood, taking a hike in the backcountry. They also work well as a trendy alternative to regular khakis when you need to "dress- up" a bit. The fit is excellent and just the right balance of utility and style. While I would always like a heavier weight fabric, (love Filson's waxed tin pants for heavy work) but these due hold up fairly well. I tend to go through clothing and boots quickly anyway.Did have a problem with a zipper last Fall and Kuhl quickly replaced the pants. Two thumbs up for their warranty and timely response even near the holidays. In summary - great pants for doing whatever needs to be done. Only reason for holding back on the highest rating - still want that heavier fabric!!!
Not happy. Got two pairs of these pants. Both are size 33 waist, but they fit completely different. 1 inch different in the waist, much looser/tighter fit in the crotch. Bought the pairs from different vendors, and they were both washed, so don't know which one is wrong and cannot return. One of the button snaps on one pair is also a bit weak and comes undone easy.Very disappointed by these $80 pants. When I buy pants for $20, they are completely consistent in construction. Shocked $80 pants cant get this right. Great concepts behind these pants, but unfortunately I would look elsewhere.
My husband has been looking for these pants in his size for quite some time...he's 6'7" and obviously has a hard time finding pants. I love that Moosejaw carries so many different sizes! He will be using them for camping/hiking/yard work...etc... ADVENTURE!
Great pants. Like everyone says, they fit great. Finally found a pair of pants that are properly fitting, but loose where I want them to be. Before these pants, I always had to go one waist size up for the thigh to be loose enough for comfort. Now this is no more. I love the cell phone pocket! I can just barely fit my samsung s5 in a otterbox defender case.Careful when picking a color. Khaki has a green color to it, Espresso has a black color to it. These colors start fading to a tan and brown color, respectively. Be forewarned: these pants do have a purposely fading dye. When washing, especially first few times, u might get random streaks of faded color. I like this, but many complain of this. Gets better as they age. Lastly, the material is very thick, so the pants make more noise than other pants when moving. Gets better after being worn-in, but still present.
