Ok. So I wore out the first pair at work (soles worn) and then they became my bike shoes. We do two/three rides a week on the Masi, 22 or 30 miles along the Erie Canal. Three times in the last three weeks we got caught in the rain for the majority of the ride. Soaked. Muddy. Three times I've hosed them off and I'll be wearing them again tomorrow. I'm gushing. Is that awkward?
"If you need a solid pair of shoes. These are it."
To be clear up front, I'm hard on shoes. I'm 6'2" and 230 pounds with big wide size 13s that beat up shoes. I work in a busy restaurant and hammer out 12 hour shifts most days. I bought these shoes for a trip to San Francisco. They came out of the box light and comfortable and ready to go. We put in 10-12 miles every day in the city punctuated by an 18 mile day. These shoes were full badass. Not a blister, no ache, nothing. If they are good on the urban hike, I'm feeling pretty good once they hit the trail. I now have three pairs. Great shoe.
