To start with, I have 5 of these water bottles. I go to school and love hiking, and this water bottle is perfect for both! Unlike the regular CamelBak Eddy, this one is insulated, and trust me, IT DOES KEEP WATER COLDER LONGER! I am one of those people that can't stand not having ice in my water and the fact that if I fill the water bottle to the top with ice in the morning, an it should last me till at least after lunch, makes me really happy. So.... this water bottle should keep ice (if filled to the top) for 3-5hrs, water itself (if iced first) should stay cold for 3-4hrs. Therefore, if the water bottle was filled to the top with ice and water, it should all stay cold for about 5+hrs. I hope you love this water bottle as much as I do.
So you should plan on buying more than one. Out of the box this became the new favorite water bottle. Cool looking (we got green) and great insulation. Put ice cubes in and they don't melt. Perfect for travel, sports or to keep next to the bed for night time. No spilling!Time to get another to stop the fighting...
I love this bottle but recently mine has leaked every now and then. I own multiple Camelbak Eddys and leaking has never been a problem, so it is probably just a flaw in my new one. Since mine leaks occasionally, I just use this one as a backup, but I still love it. It keeps my water ice cold for a few hours, and I love the looks of it. If it didn't leak, I'd give it 5 stars. Still a great bottle though.
I needed a water bottle to keep at work to help me curb my out of control espresso habit. (Seriously, espresso should not be that fast or easy to make.) This little bottle keeps me hydrated, my hands steady, and my water cool! Perfect! I wish there was a bigger version to take on hikes and traveling!
"Insulated, sippy cup for adults. Really liked it (until my wife stole it... now she loves it)."
Nice that you can fill it with ice and it won't pee condensation all over your desk at work. 0.6L size fits nicely into a water bottle 'pocket' on a laptop bag or backpack (where a 1L Nalgene is too fat).Wife stole it and claimed it as hers. Guess that says something right?
"Bottle doesn't leak, great color, fits in standard bike bottle holders"
I bought this bottle for my bf, and figured the only thing that could go wrong was a leak. However, this bottle does NOT leak, no matter what. It fits in the bottle holder, which I was rather worried about, because he has a vintage bike, and the orange color even stylishly complimented the frame. The colors are great, it doesn't leak, it fits, and the bite-drink thing is cool/easy. No complaints about this product, I would definitely recommend it.
The first time I filled this with ice and water I was shocked by how quickly the ice melted since it is an insulated bottle. Fortunately, the water temperature itself didn't seem to change much after the ice melted and my water stayed cold until I was finished drinking it. Also, many folks who see the logo ask questions about it, as Camelbaks with third-party logos are apparently not too common. It's a good conversation piece, I suppose.
I own one already in a different color and its awesome!! Keeps your drinks cooler longer and the bite spout is leak proof when not using it, it's perfect for hiking, school, gym, and just everything. It's even stylish, and the colors are super cute! You need one!
