"Fits well; nice and light, but did great in cooler weather"
These pants surprised me when I first opened the package. They seemed light and I was worried that they were too much of a summer pant to be able to withstand the trip I had planned for that weekend (climbing Mt Mitchell with weather 40 degree highs, with rain). But I rolled the dice, and boy was I surprised--they kept me plenty warm. They fit well, the 32x32 was true to size (5'11", 185lb). I would recommend wearing a belt with them.Very happy with this purchase.
"Functional, athletic fit, go everywhere pants"
This is my first pair of Mountain Hardwear pants of many, many, to come. I have a tall, athletic body type so finding pants that fit me are generally hard to find due to the inseam. These pants were long enough, and fit my lower body like a glove. Not too loose, not too tight, perfect fit. I've been wearing them in 20-30 degree weather so far and they are just fine. I initially though these would only be good for spring or better weather as they don't have any insulation properties and are super thin, but I haven't felt the difference between these and jeans in this weather. I've washed once and no shrinkage. My favorite thing about these pants are the super soft and super thin waist line.
"These are comfortable, fit great, look great, and strong"
These mountain hardware pants are a nice surprise. At first I thought the material was going to be too thin and I was going to get cold as full pants but they work great and the material is still quite strong. The shorts don't get too hot either. Nice and comfy and they look good too! My only complaint is that the bottoms do not have a side zipper so I have to take my shoes off in order to convert hem to shorts, but for me that is a pretty minor detail. Great pants love this company and I will DEFIANTLY be buying more of their products!
