"very solid construction. great work pant."
these pants do tend to sit high on the waist. so maybe consider going a size up in that category or longer on the inseam because mine ended up looking like flood pants, but besides the sizing I love mine.
As a guy who does squats and has some quads, it's great to find some pants that look great and also give you the freedom to move. Also, love that they aren't low-rise. Definitely going to buy some more.
These pants are rugged but very good-looking. I've bought two pair so far. The fit is fuller in the seat and thighs which is good for someone with bigger hips and thighs like me (I played soccer for many years). The waist, however, is snug--the pants seem to wrap around your hips and butt and come back "in" at the waist. All together they have a different fit but a very good one. They also have excellent pockets; the second right hip pocket is deep and extremely handy! Great pants; I plan to buy more!
These pants will hold up to almost anything. I wear a tough to find size so when I found these I got two pair. I wear these camping, fishing, and most often hiking. About a month ago went on a trek through nearly untouched terrain in the mountains, and there was plenty of brush, thorns, felled trees and rocks to get snagged on. I anticipated there would be some damage to the pants after wandering for a few miles through thick undergrowth, but after knocking off the mud and wash, they looked good as new. With a quick press they clean up well enough for a casual business meeting. They are the most comfortable pants I own. If you expect your gear to hold up like I do, buy these pants.
