Their packs are so functional and sleek looking. The best of both worlds. I have the Aether 70 for multi-day and this bad boy for single day. A 3L resevoir fits nice and snug in an outside compartment for it which allows you worry free hiking about it leaking inside. All in all fantastic!
awesome backpack just what i needed. fits tight for more aggressive hiking/ trail running. holds more than everything i need. the only extra thing id have liked to see is a soft pouch for my phone but i usually have that in my pocket anyway so im thrilled with my new backpack
This pack is what you expect from Osprey quality.Very durable and easy to attach to my Aries pack. Love the fact that I can easily extended the liter size of regular pack and when camp is set up detach my daylite pack add my water bladder and away we go for a hike.It is a great size, easy to adjust to fit me perfect.
I carried this bag as my every day bag for 10 days in Europe and was very pleased with it. It's so light, even when fully packed, that I often forgot it was there. Having said that, just be warned that it isn't a huge pack, so you can't carry everything you own in it. But, I carried a jacket, camera, tablet, and other various and sundry things with no problems. The straps could be padded slightly more, but I was never uncomfortable carrying the pack. And, for the price and the Osprey guarantee, you just can't beat it.
I'm a little obsessed and in love with Osprey packs and this one is no exception. GREAT for day hikes! My osprey 3L water bladder fits great and the straps (which are super breathable and comfortable) don't dig into my shoulders carrying 3L of water, rain gear, first aid pack, spare clothes & food/snacks! I couldn't believe everything fit!
"The lightweight, not-too-big backpack I've been looking for!"
I've been shopping around for the perfect backpack for a long time, and have ordered and returned several from other companies. Finally I found one I want to keep! I have an old Patagonia daypack I like very much, except that its lack of pockets drives me crazy. I was looking for something of similar size and weight but with more organization, and this one delivers. It has just enough organization, as I find excess pockets to be annoying. The side water bottle pockets are fine for small to medium bottles. The smaller storage pocket has two mesh pockets (good for phone) plus key fob. Nice light grey lining. The main compartment has a sleeve where I can fit my 11" Macbook Air (bit of a squeeze with Incase sleeve over it), and where an iPad would fit easily. Pack has a few more straps than I consider really necessary, but you can remove the waistbelt. Don't be deterred by this pack's being listed under "Men's backpacks" - it's actually the perfect size for me as a 5'3" small-framed woman.
