I did a lot of research trying find a good durable duffle. I'm very happy with this bag. It has enough room that I can easily pack a week's worth of clothes in it. It is made to last. The backpack straps are really comfortable and make it easy to carry for long distances.
I already had the 45 and 90L. This one is perfect for flying when you're not checking a bag and just bringing a carry-on. Perfect size. Looks great as well. I think people stare at it a lot. Some have completed them. They look great too. When checking the 90, it's kind of a pain to get the back pack straps off. Especially with a line behind you. Then putting them back on can be an undertaking. But once they on, you're off. Durable too.
Bottom line: this is an insanely well constructed and built duffel bag! While it doesn't have a lot of extra pockets, the nice, open space is a great plus. In addition, it feels pretty darn comfortable when used like a backpack.
Have had this bag for about 6 months now and have really only minor complaints about it. It was originally bought because I needed a duffel for couple day long business and leisure trips that I didn't want to have to check bags at the airport. The bags overall construction is pretty great it can take a bit of a beating and it will take getting slightly wet (anymore than just damp conditions your stuff inside will be soaked). My one complaint with it is that where the backpack straps loop into the buckles will back out on you and it really sucks to have one side completely fall off when walking through the airport. Other than that definitely a solid bag for a couple days to week long trips
