This is an exceptional fleece pullover. It is well made, warm and soft to the touch, and versatile. On cold days (30-40 deg.F), I've worn it on top of my base layer as a mid layer and sometimes with or without a shell, and it is very warm. It's great on its own when the temperature is mild, and not very cold. Purchased it this winter, and so far so good. I hope that it will last me for many winters ahead. I am about 5'8" tall and about 160 lbs. and bought the small size; it fits really well like it was tailored for me. The length of the sleeve and overall top is perfect. In fact, I can wear a think base layer underneath this top to give me extra warmth. As of now, I am very happy with this purchase and will most likely buy some more Patagonia products. I would recommend getting this top.
"Nice thin fleece for summer nights or fall days"
I'm happy with this fleece. Everyone needs a thin pull over in the quiver. I've worn it to work with a dress shirt under and a pair of Patagonia jeans and that is a nice look. Perfect for outdoor activities early morning, not too hot, not too cold.
Great fleece. Warm, comfortable and cozy. Unbelievably soft! I have this and the North Face equivalent and I find this to not only be more comfortable but the collar is much better. The North face collar is too large. This is perfect. Buy now.
One of the more comfortable fleeces I've ever owned. It does the job it's supposed to; it keeps you warm. It's a terrific product, but it has a few flaws that you may or may not think are worth considering:If you were to stand outside in this, it would probably only keep you comfortable as long as the air temp is above 35-30ºF, without wind. Below that temp, or if there is substantial wind, you'd probably want to add a coat. But it makes an awkward middle layer. Not that it is totally uncomfortable, but adding a winter coat on top of this could make you feel a little less mobile in the arms and shoulders. Still, it's hard to ask for much more from a $55 fleece.
