I love these 'knickers'. The material is durable, the construction thoughtful, and the fit comfortable, but not obnoxiously baggy. The integrated belt works quite well for an integrated belt; assuming it holds (it should), it is a nice feature. The toothbrush holder on the left leg is also a nice touch; my dental hygienist and the girls at the gym seem more tolerant of my presence since my acquisition of the Nemesis Knicker.
"Perfect for Climbing, Yoga, and Lounging!"
Extremely surprised about how comfortable, light, airy, and stretchy these were! I lounged around them over the weekend and almost did not want to take them off! Bought a few more colors only after a few days of having these. I can't wait to trek through Europe with these knickers!
"The Perfect Knickers for Yoga, Climbing, and Lounging!"
The knickers are extremely comfortable, light, airy, and stretchy. It was perfect for top-roping and bouldering. I've spent some time lounging in them, and don't want to take them off! I liked these so much that I bought some of these in other colors. I can't wait to bring these with me during my travels to Europe this summer!
Prana products have always treated me well, these shorts are no exception. Great fit, extremely durable and comfortable. The material is soft but stretchy and tough, Ive gone hiking, camping, bouldering and everything in between and they haven't frayed from rocks or the abuse i put them through, i have 4 pairs of these and the first pair is as good as the last. Definitely buy, great choice.
Here's the deal. I bought these thinking they would make me some sort of super awesome ninja climber, but when I got them I think my man parts shrunk a bit. I’m 5'8" and these are to the bottom of my calf. With a harness on you can kinda see my stuff. A little weird. When I wear my boots I look like I hiked up my pants to avoid a flood. When I throw my rock shoes on I look like a fairy ballerina doing pirouettes. I just googled how to spell pirouettes so don't think any differently about me. Anywho...now for the good. They are super stretchy and amazingly comfortable. If I was a crime fighter in the night I would probably wear these. Only at night tho...so the bad guys couldn't see my meat.
ok so these pants are basically the only pants ill wear to climb in. the shorter length helps the air to keep flowin and stays outta the way for heel hooks. they stretch nicely for full range of motion.
I'm still a beginner climber so I brought this along to one of my basic climbing classes. At the end of the class my knees were unbruised, unabraded and feeling great! Great protection, especially if you're like me and miss a lot of footholds.
These knickers are great. If you are in to climbing whether at the gym or on the rock these are the pants that you will want to have on. I also have the 3/4 basin pant made by Mountain Hardwear. While I love the way the Mountain Hardwear pants look, the Prana knickers are the ones I wear to climb in. The stretchy material allows for flexibility when trying difficult moves. I have found that the Mountain Hardwear pants restricts me a bit. I wear a size 33-34 and I had to send a size large back and get the size mediums.
"Great Pants! Probably crafted in climbing heaven!"
I have had a pair of knicker pants(Man-pris) That I wore for a couple years. Everything that they lacked, these have, and MORE! They fit true to size, are comfortable, and as durable as they come. They have the flexibility of climbing in shorts, matched with the protection of climbing in pants. Whether its stemming, heel hooking, or knee barring, these pants have you covered! There is no excess fabric around the hips, so your harness goes on with ease, and stays comfy longer! The pockets are deep, one zippered, perfect for the valuables. I have spent a lot of time looking for the perfect pair of knickers. These are it! Save yourself the time and buy a pair, No chance of disappointment!
The Nemesis knicker is probably the most comfortable bottom i've purchased. They are fantastic for climbing as they are flexible and durable. The material is VERY similar, if not the same, as the material used for my north face summit series jacket I love so much. P.S. I also love Moosejaw.
"Perfect for what it's not intended for!"
These make great shorts for cycling, as the length is perfectly above the crankset. They're a little pricey for what they are (I mean, they're really just obese kid pants), but a way better deal then most hipster knickers that are actually marketed as "cycling shorts." The crotch ventilation is an added bonus.
