"A lot of great features, unfortunately it failed and I can't recommend."
I purchased this shirt to wear on a week-long solo backpacking trip in Yellowstone last year. It had many features I liked: lightweight, comfortable in temps ranging from the 30s – 90s, didn't hold body odor like synthetics, dried relatively fast, flat seams were comfortable. There were neat little touches like a hang loop and the chin guard for the zipper when the neck was zipped all the way up (great for those of us with beards who don't enjoy getting them snagged).I'm 6'1", 225 lbs. with a 48" chest and the XL fit me great.Unfortunately, after several days on the trail, the seam on one of the sleeves opened up about 3". A drag, since this was my only shirt for the trek. Perhaps I got a bad shirt, but I wasn't willing to shell out another $68 (the price with shipping in April '13) to put that theory to the test. Had the seam not failed, I would have given it the highest rating and recommended it. Based on this experience though, I can't recommend it.
