"very useful and comfortable" 03/01/12
I use this backpack everyday and it's the most comfortable backpack I've ever had. The shoulder straps are well-padded and the waist buckle really helps distribute the weight! I would recommend this to every college student out there!

Just got the bag before the holidays and have been using it to travel all over. Even a plane trip it fits great under the seat in front of you; with room for your own feet. I will probably get a larger bag as well but this is awesome for day trips.

I've had mine for over 6 years now and it still looks brand new, despite the fact that I just throw it around. It protects my laptop and has a lot of great compartments. I love the cushioned straps and the whistle on it. Overall a great investment.

I bought this because a friend had the same one and I, not being of hipster mind, got the same one, same color. That was in the year 2000. That backpack is still going strong today. I've replaced the bungee on the outside about 4 times now. I've sent it back once because of a blown seam (totally my fault) and North Face sewed it for free. I use it for rock climbing, tree climbing, and more and I am in love with it.

I couldn't be happier with my North Face Borealis backpack. I love the support it gives carrying heavy books around campus all day. I was using tote bags before getting my backpack and they killed my back. I have NO issues with this pack. It is amazing. I especially love the double drink holders on the sides and also the secure cushioned laptop pocket inside. My only issue is that I wish I got a more exciting color than black, oh well! I am North Face's biggest fan after this purchase.

So I have gone through many backpacks in my time and I have found that The North Face products are the best! As soon as I got my bag I explored all the compartments and this bag will be perfect for my last few years of undergrad and grad school. I love that my laptop, books and coffee mug all have their own places and I don't have to worry about this bag ripping like my last back pack. Love it!!!

My boyfriend gave me his old backpack, which happens to be this one. He has had it for years and worn it out to the max, yet It is still in great condition and works better than any brand new backpack. I'm taking it to college next year and it will make everything a little bit easier. It has lot of space for books and my laptop and yet it doesn't kill your back when its completely full..Hopefully it will stay useful for all of my college years, if not, ill just buy another one. I would recommend this to anyone, it is by far the best backpack I have ever owned, oh, and the navy blue is the cutest :)

I bought this as my child's diaper bag. I love how durable, spacious and comfortable it is to carry. The side water bottle pockets are perfect, because they can be tightened to securely carry my daughter's bottles. Not only can I fit all the stuff she needs but there is still space for my things. Great buy!

I bought this as my first child's diaper bag. It is more durable, spacious and comfortable to carry than regular diaper bags. I can fit everything I need. The side water bottle pockets are perfect, one for me and one for her. Not only do I plan to use it as a diaper bag but I can carry my stuff in it too. One of the best decisions I made.

Awesome bag, very versatile and extremely comfortable to wear. Packing books, laptops, random biology supplies is effortless. Handles well in extreme conditions, like rainy treks to class or prescribed woodland/prairie burning.
