I bought the Northface RDT 300 for my14 year old son. I can't get him out of it of the jacket. I like the fact that it is just as warm as the Denali, but it is a little more dressier with the piping. It washed well and dried almost immediatley. It is durable as he has the 20 plus pounds of school books in his backpackand it has not yet worn in that area. One item that I think Northface could add is either pit zip or aa elastic wrist as the sleeves are open at the wrists. but at htis price level it is a very good value.

This is not your average fleece jacket. I bought it expecting it to be similar to Columbia, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. This jacket is much heavier which makes it much warmer. It also dries very quick when washed so you really do not have to dry it just hang it up and it will air dry on its own. Lastly this jacket seems to run large. I usually get a xl , but for some reason the large fits me fine in this jacket.
I bought this jacket for very mild days or layering. I heard the Jacket is certainly light and comfortable. It looks nice. My only issue is it is a bit too baggy; even for a regular fit. It is certainly not Active Fit. At least not compared to other Brands or North Face active fit jackets I've had in the same size. Kind of odd because North Face jackets tend to fit tight in the armpits area. Anyway, I like the look of this Jacket.
Got this jacket as a gift for the boyfriend--it's GREAT! Cosmic blue color is very nice, not that you can tell from the ordering page, but live and in person it's a winner. He says it's warm and comfortable. It fits well on someone who's about 6'4" with broad shoulders and a lean frame. It's so hard to tell how these things will look and fit from a website, so thanks to the other reviewers' advice. (If anyone knows what RDT means, let me know.) This supplements a 3-year-old denali jacket, which has great draw cords at the hem and the sleeves, but is not nearly as soft. This thing is so soft that I could sleep in it, but he won't let me, so I just hang around and hug him whenever he wears it.
"Great product stop @&:$?#*~ around. Buy it !"
Wore this RDT 300 jacket under a TNF Apex windproof jacket. The temp was 2* with a 30 mph northwest wind the final temp tally -10* ish. Not only was this combo plenty warm but also very light weight for the job I expected it to do. The only reason I wore the TNF apex outer jacket was the wind otherwise the RDT would have been warm enough on its own. As for the fit,it was as expected. I am 5'11" 205 lbs. and the large fit perfect. Moosejaw delivered, It's my favorite place to shop.
A very good warm layer. Thick fleece and zip in compatible. Runs a bit large (as far as I am concerned), but I am using it over a tee shirt only. The medium would have been better if I had a giant belly, but I don't so the small fits well.
Love this jacket, it is soft, thicker, and very warm! Can wear this every month of the year and great for layering if it is VERY very cold outside. Super warm on it's own though. Will be buying more in other colors. Great overall!
Bought this jacket for my boyfriend and he IMMEDIATELY FELL IN LOVE with it! it fits him like a glove and is extremely warm in the harsh cold! I would recommend this jacket to anyone! if your looking to make a good investment in a winter coat this Will be your best bet!
